There have been two watches in my life that have impacted my watch collecting philosophy. Last year I acquired a Glashutte Original Senator Excellence which I wore daily for 4 months and made me wonder why I needed many of my other watches so I sold most of my Pateks! And now this Casio Oak which I love wearing even more than the Glashutte Original has made me wonder why I need so many watches since it seems to be my 'go to' watch whenever I have a want to wear a watch without feeling I am actually wearing a watch!

10 years ago I would not had taken a second glance at, for example, Seiko. I remember seeing this out in the wild and was awestruck. So simple, and pleasant to look at from afar and in pictures, but when seeing in person, wow.
