All due respect to the "dial collaborations" made with other brands...
There is a new sheriff in town in terms of pairing with Aston Martin. They are called Lorige. They will also be working with other high end race car manufacturers.
I saw them up close a few weeks ago at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. This brand is amazing. I am still gathering information for a more detailed post, but what separates Lorige from every other brand is the watch case and dial are fabricated from carbon/carbon brake pads used on actual race cars in actual races. You are literally wearing part of the race car on your wrist. I was utterly impressed handling these watches. So much so that I ordered one on the spot.
Production is extremely limited, and obviously dependent upon the number of brake pads they source and produce from. Cool side note, I watched the Aston Martin Valkyrie #23 run at the Rolex 24, and the used pads are headed toward the Lorige Manufacture for future watch cases.
Much more to follow on this brand in coming weeks.
