the reason why the little cake is called "Tegolino" is that it's reminiscent of a "little tile". Apparently, "tegola" means "tile". And Amsterdam Watch Co. makes the link between the tile and the cake: https://awco.nl/shop/icons/rare-finds/patek-philippe-...
