My JLC MCDC has quite a few scratches on it but I don't mind. It is my daily wearer, and while I don't abuse it I also don't baby it. It is a watch that is meant to be worn, and the fact that is worn most of the time means it is going to pick up scratches. I love the MCDC and i think it looks good with the scratches it has. Now, on the other hand I have a GP EVO 3 that has a scratch on it that the service center said that because of its placement, it can't be taken out. This scratch is the main reason it does not have a lot of wrist time. For some reason it is the only thing that I can see on the watch when I look at it. Also I baby my AMVOX II DBS, I love it in its pristine condition. So for me, I think it depends on the watch, certain watches scratches add "character" while on other watches scratches detract from the enjoyment of the watch. I think the more masculine the watch the easier it is to accept scratches.
