Difficult to look somewhere else

Not to some of us liking. However the lecoultre and the VC are gorgeous and irresistibly voluptuous

Fewer people wear suits at work, lots more dress casual, etc. In contrast, these watches were manufactured during a time when formal elegance was more common and appreciated. Times change.

And it contrasts a bit with the clean minimalistic dial (for a chronograph, at least). No tachymeter, no pulsometer. Just a big 12, a simple signature, and clean registers.

i agree JLC lugs are much refined and pleasing for the eyes. CYMA is beautiful too imho, in steel so can well be a very good wear !! Best, mahesh.,

The JLC chrono is my favorite. I do think even though the lugs are a little pompous by nature, it was befitting of the time. I really like it. The others are very beautiful too. Thanks for sharing mate.

I tend to dress rather casually and like wearing the JLC (and my other watches) with jeans and nice simple shirt. But yeah, it's hard to get a more opulent, or "pompous" as you say, look in a traditional case than with these kinds of lugs. I think the Pat...
