Usually, the descriptive terms that you listed were printed on the dial . . .
. . . and the issue at hand, if I understand correctly, is directed at the scripting on the back. Many G O's also have descriptive print on the dial as well, but my feeling is that most English-speaking aficionados aren't as bothered by 'gangreserve' as the use of German is sympathetic with a German watch; this makes me wonder if the criticism directed towards the abundance of script on the back of many G O's would be as severe if it was engraved in German instead. As I alluded to earlier, my preference would be for austerity in most cases (again, pun intended!), but since I receive a full measure of Teutonic clarity in my G O's when they're on my wrist . . .
