This too, profoundly irritates me! I think a good way to put it into perspective is by looking at laptops. When you walk into a store and look at a laptop on display, it almost always has all of its features, components, OS, etc on stickers plastered on the palm rests. Once in a while I'll see someone using a laptop, and somehow not be bothered by the fact that the stickers they should have taken out and did not are now gathering wrist crud around the edges, while letting everyone else know that they love marketing stickers! Ditto to camera owners that do not take those  5.0 MEGAPIXELS UP TO 3131235X DIGITAL ZOOM TOUCH SCREEN stickers off the front of the point and shoots! The thing is, you can take the stickers out, but on watches, NO!!!! Another pet-peeve, Automatic written on the dial of modern watches.

I would love for GO to lose the silly scripts. I myself have now bought in and I hope everyone understands that my criticism is intended to be constructive but I really dislike this particular aspect of their entire line. Why crow about something a silly ...

While I can agree from a purely aesthetic point of view I think that there is some reason in putting the text on the back. Any watch from the sixties would have similar text: Waterproof, anti magnetic, and shock resistant, typically. It adds to the credib...
