Interesting point about the different languages Art...

 

I can relate to this with a watch I purchased a long time ago, a poljot aviator. I remember looking for a watch with all the markings on the back and front in Russian font since I didn't like the way the english equivalent wording was placed or looked. Even though the same exact things are written in Russian, it stays true to the motif. Just as a gangreseve or auf ab script is interesting as long as it's on a german watch as you mentioned.
