. . . can speak volumes. Thanks for contributing your thoughts, E. I've never tried on one of Glashütte's rubber straps so I can't comment from comparative experience, but in my brief exposure to a Senator Chronometer, I didn't find the alligator strap and deployant uncomfortable.
Of course, this is not to say that a rubber strap can't be more comfortable! I defer to your experience in this.
As for strap lengths, or more precisely, the seemingly excessive length of standard G O straps, there's so much anecdotal evidence that in the court of popular opinion, the verdict must be guilty. I've had the same experience with most of mine, and so have many others, including our own Michael C.
