All house the new cal 4800 The 38 mm Laureato has been discontinued. Maybe the same will happen to the 42 mm as well. IMHO, the 36 mm and 39 mm will be the two new sizes. The 41 mm will be reserved for Uber rare pieces... 50 or less LEs. The return of the...
Don't understand why the omit minute markers on the 39mm models. Trying too hard to be minimalistic is not always good. Coupled with the absent of text on the six o clock position, the dial looks empty, generic and boring. An integrated bracelet watch nee...
🤣 Just sayin... And price is in the same brackets as the OS, RO and Nautilus. So I don't see why not. What I await to see is secondary market prices. If GP has learned it's lesson yet or not. That is the only truth on prices for me... Value retention.
The movement is excellent and with modern features (finally) like anti magnetic etc. The execution of bracelet and case is beautiful. I just feel the dial on the blue dial 39mm is too sterile and lack of character. Regarding the price...market will decide...
It's almost like you wish the brand failure? 🤷🏻♂️ Strange left handed comments. You could be right about secondary market prices, but I for one hope for great demand and GP management controlling their errant ADs that bundle. I wish nothing but the best ...
I feel very unfortunate that they don't have AD here so i can try their models. As you have pointed out some times ago, pre-owned GPs are the best route for us who are not billionaire to acquire their fantastic time pieces. I don't know, maybe because of ...
Pre owned is the way to go for sure but I don't celebrate or look forward to some of the secondary market prices. It's totally crap for the brand image and GP deserves better. It is systemic of poor distribution control for new watches. For example, if yo...
Good reason to save money 😃 For the 42 mm enamel dials. No minutes markers and no repair make the dial look bigger. It's a mond-eye thing. For the 39 mm, it's ok. IMHO. The 39 mm rose gold dial has all the markers you want. It also has a date.
Overall these are good sign of GP. Apparently they listen to what enthusiast want (price is relative, of course). What they need is to improve the sales and marketing. Please no bundle BS.
I love the best vintage Laureato 8010 even more at 36 x 7.9 mm 2 mm or so thinner. But I do like the new 36 mm as well. I'll just habr to get them all 🤣
The 39mm looks amazing. I love that the initials are removed on both dial and clasp. This looks so much cleaner. I hope to see in person. I am not in the market for a new watch but if I were this would be at the top of the list.
Sure enough, last night, before I went to bed, I saw a countdown. Thankfully, I had already decided to wake up early (02:30 CDT) for a run! The alarm went off; I checked their Instagram - nothing!😔 Then, I checked Fratello and Monochrome - nothing!😔 Final...
I suspect they had no date for the enamel dial because I think the date windows in the enamel dials can be not to some folks taste. The base dial plate can be seen from the side. I have brought this up to GP in the past. But. On the onyx dial, it's really...
