I can’t say I super love any of the other production GPs. I’m not a big fan of the Absolute either. Pretty much like the classic laureato for the most part.
I have not considered the 3 bridges and such as they are in a different price category and generally not my style.
Neo bridges and such I find too big for me.
So I agree that GP would be well served to revive some pieces from the past.
I think cushion case would do well today. Gyromatic, deep diver, Olimpico and even the ref 4940

This 8010 laureato is 7.9 mm thick The 81005 laureato (38 mm is about 10.1 mm). Same for the 41 mm 81000 The 42 mm laureato is the thickest. So yes, the 8010 is the thinest mechanical laureato that exists. Thanks for your questions ☀️

Yeah, the catalogs back in 1995 were a bit flat. They have some other nicer pics that I’ll share as well. The old catalogs and price lists are a gold mine. Many pieces are so rare and they were soooo expensive back then. If one knows.
