It does make it special to me that I can wear and enjoy this watch that belonged to my grandfather, who died years before I was born. I would enjoy the family connection regardless, but it’s a bonus that I actually like the watch and think we may have had similar tastes in watches. I think I’ll be wearing this watch more than any other for quite some time. I forgot to add that the movement is Universal Geneve, which is better known for this style of chrono with four subdials.
