This watch was my grandfather’s. My mother recently found it in a drawer, so I got it fully serviced and put on a new strap. It’s now working perfectly. I’m guessing it’s from the 1930s or 40s, but don’t really know. My grandfather served in the Canadian Navy during WWII, so I’m wondering if the watch might have been a military issue. Anyone know? You can tell the watch went through quite a bit. One of the pushers and the crown appear to have been replaced, probably many decades ago by my grandfather. The lume had fallen out of the hands when I got it, so my watchmaker added some vintage-style lume. He said he can easily remove the new lume if I don’t like it.
