Sorry to hear
you have been through a frustrating experience. Now, I'm not associated with GP, I'm just a fan and collector.
I read your report carefully and I do want to object some of the generalisatons you are making. I think there are a lot of people out there that have good service experience, esp with GP. Something always can go wrong. I'm still a bit puzzled about your second service experience and how these gold sprinkles were eventually fixed.
Now about your current service request. I think in fairness, the Sea Hawk 7000 is already a vintage watch and most other brands would treat this similarly, either a full vintage service at the manufacturer at considerable cost, or you always have the option to service it at a local watchmaker. I think that option was given to you and I don't fully see your frustration with that. If you have a trusted watchmaker, he will do a good service job as long nothing is broken. It also makes economic sense in my opinion.
Anyways, I do hope this can be clarified and there will be some solution for you that gives you to opportunity to reflect and reconsider your experience.
Best,
CC
