Shocking and Sad news. Wonder what purpose and why?
Are the thieves totally clueless or were they "put up to it" by a villainous private collector? Surely they must know the pieces cannot be easily sold off. I guess no different then a fine art heist I suppose. A Sad day for horology and GP indeed.
