It is a sad fact that most of the marvelous pieces stolen in such incidents do not reappear, even if they were unique pieces, that could not be offered on the market without a trace. This indicates that the thieves already had their buyers, even before they committed the crime. Apparently, they are following a "shopping list" to meet their "orders".
This is indeed very sad.
