Girard Perregaux

In fact it is!

G'Day,

you´re right, it´s pretty much a lot of curvatures in these!
The dials are domed, as is the crystal. And the case too!
For some impressions of a limited edition (different dials, same case), please see here:

As you may seen, the very first prototypes came with different dials and hour markers.
I like the final look a lot more and it may show how much care and love for the details went into these.

According to Stefano Macaluso, exactly the "simple" look was very difficult to do.
The design process of the "Vintage1966" ended up in a lot of meetings and design alternatives for the elements of the watch, such as dial proportions and hands. It´s been a long work, more than with other models!
This mostly because the absence of many design elements requires more work for each details, which makes such a pretty difficult piece to do.

The "Full Calendar" is a real beauty too. It´s different, as it is larger and higher. But the proportions are equally mesmerizing, so you just can´t do wrong.
And it does have the added benefit of allowing for an easy choice, with only 1 variant to be made smile

Cheers,

Peter
