I've been on a white metal/blue dial kick recently. Here is the one that sent me down the path. Ref. 49539 in white gold. Simple, two register chronograph and no date (which I like in this configuration). 40mm in diameter and 12mm thickness is perfect for...  

A manual movement, a blue dial, no date and 40 mm case, and I am in... Though, I am more and more thinking about getting this blue one... Just op and how cool! Best, Nicolas.

Nicely finished movement, but modular chronograph so the column wheel isn't visible and it needs to be a few mm bigger to meet the case size of 40 mm. ...  

and I competly follow your attachement to it as I tried the other dial version some years ago, even if I prefer the blue one. Cheers, Mark ...

I must say that I am with you here and can only agree. For me your Ref. 49539 is the most appealing from a design point of view! What would be a winning combination for me would be the 49539 case/dial with the GP03800 movement from the ref 49529. And sinc... 

In this blue dial, i would be perfectly happy with this reference even with some short comings like the small movement. This blue dial is hard to find, I see them in the rose gold and white gold with the white dial but the blue is more rare. And in my opi... 

Even though I find that I need a date complication, I agree with you that it is much better without one.
