Have some old pics of the 38 silver dial and the blue 42 mm to repost ?

Might be useful for some to see the differences.

Goes to show that that dial color (and trying on the wrist) can affect how a watch looks on that wrist. Skin tone as well.

These are factors that some are yet to fully appreciate. Case diameter is not the only factor to consider.

Dial color contrast to the metal makes a difference. I suspect this is why the silver dial 38 mm was felt a little small for you.

Do you also feel the 1.5 mm thinness of the case vs the 42 mm?

I’m glad to see that you have found the right size and dial color for yourself.

Exactly 💯 I have been telling the collectors in my GP FB group the same thing. The mind’s eye gets used to a certain size and when trying on a 38 mm size, it may be best to NOT wear a 42 mm prior. It will bias your decision. After a while, one will get us...

That’s probably why the 38 mm silver dial didn’t feel “right” to you. Many nuances beyond case size alone … (unfortunately). 🤝

Congratulations again Jesse! The bracelet suits the watch so very well that it's meant to be seen when you look at the watch from any angle. That's why I much prefer the 38 to the 42, even on 7+ inch wrists... Well done and enjoy it 👍👏
