Adolfo Natalini did NOT design the orginal Laureato in 1975.
GP knows who the designer is but they will only say it was an in-house designer and they will not release his name.
After I spoke with Fabrizio (his business partner for over 30 years) last week, I emailed him to be sure there was no misunderstanding.
His response is clear. See the screenshot of his email back to me today.

The designer may be in his 70’s now as the laureato is soon to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. At least now we can say concretely who the designer was NOT. 😄

There is no secret! The guy was probably just a usual production guy that was responsible for designing all the watches! You remember? GP was not a very luxerious brand at those days!
And honestly, and sorry, the original design was not such a great shot designwise…

The “secret” is that GP won’t reveal the name. That’s why you have to say “probably” this and “probably” that. We know the names of many other designers from that era but not the Laureato. It’s been withheld even though many folks would like to know. It m...

Ask yourself the same questions… 😅 Bro, you must be a lot of fun at parties. My post was simply to say they Adolfo Natalini was NOT the designer as conjecture implies. That’s it. I did extensive research and made the effort to make calls to Italy and such...
Not sure what your argument is and whether I am fun at parties - I think I am 😉 - has little to do with what I wrote.
