And the Kaiserschmarren afterwards, did, too (see just added picture) πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Understandably, a little lighter, still a great choice...

Meet my European family part there once a year... a very sentimental place for me. Thanks for understanding πŸ™πŸ‘ A great looking schweinshaxe if you ask me πŸ˜‰

Vienna is a sentimental place for us too, lived here for six years and both of our children were born in Vienna πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Owe you a correction…

The Kolarik family split up the businesses and Luftburg (where we went because of the kids) switched to Gâsser as a bio alternative to Budvar (go figure), while Schweizerhaus still serves Budvar 🍻

Ah, you too? 😊

We used to live in Vienna for six years, which is a bit of an advantage πŸ˜‰ Your recommendations are all spot on and quite some are on the list already. Steirereck will not work with our small kids that well this time but looking forward to returning there....

Ah I see,

so with 6 years of Vienna experience you are more or less like a local, certainly more than myself as I never actually lived in Vienna, I only commuted there to work for some years. Now I work in the countryside north of Vienna and also live there - near ...

I am at a Heurigen in Rodingersdorf, a nearby village and enjoying the simple things in life. Quite the antithesis to Haute Cuisine, but the value for money is unmatched in Austria. Just look at these prices: €1,50 for a glass of wine, €3,20 for a large b...

Looking truly sublime! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Remember often going to a local Heuriger for lunch back in the day - our office was just South of Wiener Neudorf πŸ‘πŸ»

Very cool,
