Visit to Sant Pau Tokyo

 

I visited Sant Pau Tokyo after seeing Patrick's recommendation here a few weeks ago.  The food, presentation, and service were all fantastic.  It is too bad that they will be closing their location in Tokyo, as I would definitely be planning a return otherwise.


Here are the photos of the courses I took:



Menu for lunch




The introduction to the menu. Containing a taco with avocado and sausage, a mango cheese tart, and I forgot what the red one was called (it contained an olive oil inside).




This one contained the cockle in cream underneath the bed of caviar. The presentation on this one was fantastic.




Mackerel in vinegar.




Cream corn and foie gras. The foie gras mousse is covered in baby corn.




Rice with turban shell.




Grilled fish served with a saffron sauce. (I don’t recall the variety of fish.)




The next course included a salad served in a hollowed out pepper.




Roasted venison.




Mango crepe and semifreddo.




A variety of cookies ending with a house-made gummy (on the left).

Also, this being WatchProSite, here is a mediocre shot of my Vacheron Constantin 6000T that I was wearing.






The lighting in the restaurant really did not agree with me taking a wristshot.
