鰻 (うなぎ / eel) and ホタテ (scallops) are two of my favorites





There's a system in Japan where you can pay your tax to almost any prefecture, regardless of where you live.  The receiving prefecture then normally sends a small token of appreciation - in this case we got some eel and scallops ... you have to pay the tax in any case, but the small 'gift' is much appreciated, and in this case very tasty.
