My second bottle of this vintage and excellent; should improve in the next two days if the first bottle was any indication.

An astute commentator noted that I should decant the wine. Absolutely, yes. I did not do this for lunch and the wine was nice but hardly singing. But I did pour a little more into the 5 dl decanter and sealed it up for dinner time and those signature deep... 

It’s interesting how a small think like decanting changes the character of a wine. I need to do that more.
