An astute commentator noted that I should decant the wine.
Absolutely, yes. I did not do this for lunch and the wine was nice but hardly singing. But I did pour a little more into the 5 dl decanter and sealed it up for dinner time and those signature deep notes of plum and cola emerged a few hours later when I had it again. I chanced upon the knife a while ago and gave it a try. I don’t think I want to use another serrated blade again after this Sknife.
