Chilean cabernet with pizza. The pairing has always just worked for me. Can't say I've tried Portuguese wines. M4
I too enjoy Cab from Maipo Valley and Malbec from Argentina.

Chilean reds from the maipo are very enjoyable
....and approachable early ...yours should be a mouthful Never had the portuguese...will have to giv it a go Enjoy!
