This is a great piece and its not often seen! It’s even more amazing in the flesh. I’d check out the sound as others have said. Both the hours and minutes strike on the same gong, which is not typical. I spent some time with this piece a few years ago.
The only reason to pass on it would be if it doesn’t sound good to you.
This is one of the most desirable watches out there.

Not sure how it compares on price since it is discontinued but I would pick the GS over the SS everyday. SS is too much like the CS imo
