Resonance
Hi Christian, All,
Thank you for the warm welcome.
My grandfather was a big collector in his days and passed down some clocks and watches (mostly vintage Pateks) to the grandkids. Thats how I got interested and was more into collecting clocks - mostly English Carriage clocks. I still have one Patek left - a vintage Patek from 1955-60 - a 2555 with a double signed dial, which is quite a beautiful Patek in my opinion.
Since some time have become really into the independents, especially the ones who make their own movements. Really admire and love Journe, especially the resonance, and quite like the Chronometer Optimum also. Also like Voutilainen and Gronefeld a lot. Everything is in cycles.

It looks like pocket watches are getting stronger every year. I still feel vintage is strong but has been corrected. A lot of people have also been burned by vintage pieces with fake or wrong parts and paying top dollar for these. It has discouraged some ...
