It is super quirky....
but I like that. It is certainly not your first or second Journe and certainly also a watch for a special mood. I think you may need to know the FPJ universe quite well to appreciate the details. When all that said, it does tickle me without any objections to its execution.

Actually it's astonishing that FPJ never made a skeleton watch (hope I'm correct about this) given his gorgeous gold movements and high standards of finishing. A future project, maybe? Thanks for your comments, Watchonthewrist!

F.P. Journe movements are art masterpieces. So this “dial” makes the movement the canvas with those several finishes. Also the cut out has the form of a flower, so it feels organic. I would mind using it everyday! Best. René
