Should have pulled the trigger a while ago when prices were a lot lower, but oh well, what are you gonna do. This is my favorite Journe watch of all time. I like his other work, but somehow the Optimum has always been at the top for me, both mechanically ...

And perhaps an acquisition strategy for me to learn from? I've been shamelessly visiting FP Journe since 2009 with NO CHANCE of success because I don't visit often enough - due to the boutiques being so far away. Best, Robert

And I live hundreds of miles away from the nearest boutique and never travel anywhere. I abhor traveling. I bought this watch second hand from a trusted dealer.

What are you planning for the collection overall going forward? Any straps en route for this? Delugs has a bunch of in stock FPJ size ones now

Delugs is not my favorite, to be honest. I prefer Veblenist based out of Chicago. Interesting question about what I'm planning for my overall collection. I definitely needed a reset. I'm still trying to figure out my direction, but I'm going to focus on w... 

I was impulsive too but...I think it is an important thing to actually try a ton of watches to figure out what you really love. I know I have been surprised by some watches that I did not love when I checked them out at an AD...but loved them after wearin...
