Today, it has been 12 years since I first saw the Chronometre Bleu on a 'New York Watch Walk' with a group of fellow Time zone (old web community) enthusiasts.
It was love at first sight. I still remember taking the in-store pictures with shaking hands
I actually went back to the boutique and bought it later the same day (yes, you could do that back then).
It also got a bit of attention on @hodinkee IG as well. What a ride!
Stille love it for its quirky no-compromises approach to the infamous 'entry level watch' question.

If so, I was also there, and wearing my CB. Different times. Not that lo no ago but a world before the current levels of interest.
