I had the same experience as you. I was looking for a 60th birthday present for myself and looked at some Pateks and Langes and when I went in to the boutique on Madison - it was still uptown then, and they had none to buy, but a collector's watch was the... 

And yes, that was a very nice shop with some really good people. Claua

If so, I was also there, and wearing my CB. Different times. Not that lo no ago but a world before the current levels of interest.

And yes, a different world entirely.

Congrats on a wonderful 12 years with the CB! We must have bought ours around the same time. I wear it often and still love it. It can pair with a wide variety of straps!
