Vintage Pasha
Having read several articles noting the Pasha model's somewhat murky origin story, I was quite surprised to find the below picture of a 1943 watch in the Cartier Time Art exhibition book. The watch appears to resemble the 1980s models very closely, from the case design with the grill, vendome lugs and canteen crown, to the dial with the square rail, 3-6-9-12 numerals and distinctive blued arrow hands.
Besides reducing the diameter from 41 to 38mm Gerald Genta really didn't do that much.

The Pasha was for the first time introduced in 1985
