Tudor Black Bay Bronze: Brown or Blue?
I tried to play a bit on the light on the Bucherer Edition, to capture the true hue of blue.
And now a picture of the brown dial.
To give you an idea of these 2 dials.
Which version do you prefer?
Personally, I would go for the brown dial. Even if the blue seems quite elegant, I find the brown more cool. And maybe more consistent with the bronze case.

I normally steer clear of blue-faced watches - just my personal preference - but this blue one with that splendid strap looks wonderful.
I think that the contrast between the blue and the bronze makes the dial really stand out. Regards Kev.
Either one or the other I find them too thick and it is a pity
Because I like the design. If it wasn't th thickness I'd go for the blue one

Really like the blue dial - but would need to see it with a developed patina
From what I've seen of bronze watches - as the patina develops the character changes. Cheers JML
It may be - but do like blue dials too! This one is more restrained so may work with patination too
Or is that too much fence sitting !? I think that certain amount of its allure also lines in the fact that there won't be too many of them
Personally, I prefer the blue one...
Gives the whole combinaion a more maritime touch - the bronze and blue has historically gone quite well on ships, so why not on a dive watch?
Both are nice but size matters
I reckon I'm in the minority camp here but IMHO I feel that Tudor had gotten the size wrong. Both are visually attractive pieces but they are too thick and too big. If these watches are scaled down I think they will be much more appealing to me

I wouldn't want to wear bronze on my body. But if to choose....mmmm.....difficult. The contrast of the bronze/blue is quite strong. So I guess blue.
The blue looks crisp and fresh, but....
when the watch gets more patina, this contrast will become less. That's the reason I'll go for the brown one. And damn, why doesn't my AD give me the phone call 'my' watch is there to get it.... Ciao, Bobbe
