You are right . But with a ceramic bezel it’s less of a scratch magnet

The 37mm size suits you well, but then again, we have similar wrist sizes, so here's mine for illustration. I'm not won over my the gold though - with the bracelet, IMO, a little excessive. However, do take note that this RO is a tremendous scratch magnet...  

Even my pink gold Aquanaut has some love marks on the bezel already ! Good reminder !

By the way, I saw from you reply to Joe (Baron) that you are considering an RO and a Gold blue sub. IMHO you should go for the 37mm Royal Oak, because I don't think a Rolex will stay very long with you, but an RO will.

that being said, the Jumbo doesn't look so bad on your wrist either. But I agree, 37mm def looks more "right". That being said, I am in a hunt for 15100 ever since I came across Alkiro's....

But if you are seeing a difference just in the store then you probably should opt for the 37mm. You'll feel more comfortable going forward. It's a beautiful watch and one of the few that, to me, looks good in all-gold. Not too blingy, imho.

The 39mm Royal Oak Extra Thin is my favorite watch from Audemars Piguet. That said, I do believe I have professed my love for the 37mm models. If I had to choose only from the 15450 and 15400 references (37mm / 41mm), I would go for the smaller one. I can...

I do like the 5167R. You can put a matte chocolate brown strap from Patek Philippe on it with a rose gold pin or deployant clasp if you want to dress the watch up a bit too!
