Hello, I would like to introduce myself,
I'm very happy that after some time I finally broke the ice few days ago and I started to share my passion with all of you guys.

I've been enjoying this hobby since 1986 collecting all kind of brands and with the passing of time I have become more selective.
Now I'm collecting manly Pateks and some Rolex and Audemars.
I really appreciate your dedication and knowledge.
It is nice to learn from an international "club"of fellow collectors and enthusiasts.

For example the other day I was chatting in a thread regarding a PP 5131R of which I have an early example.

In this site I learned that there are some with and without snow caps and the more recent models have a different city layout.
Very interesting indeed!

As some of you already know Patek Philippe Geneva will do something this fall for Nautilus, I hope that with the occasion I will be privileged to meet some of you in person.

having a coveted 5131R ! The enamel map is amazing and having the ice cap IMO is "icing" on the cake. Reasons: The white ice cap adds an additional color and makes the dial even more vibrant, and it makes the map more realistic. Please share more photos o...

I agree and also I think in this R version they did an excellent job on the layers of blu for the ocean giving a more realistic depth. I\'m not a good photographer and I\'m using a regular iPhone so please bear with me. Regards. G.

Do have an invite to Geneva for the Nautilus event? The last interview I saw with Thierry he would not confirm there would be a 40th anniversary event (of course we all expect one!) but curious whether this is now confirmed.
