Spotted: GM Vehicles Galore

Today we went out early, before the streets were crawling with weirdly dressed people, and before the pesky kids started terrorizing the neighborhoods. And we saw a mighty assortment of vintage vehicles.

To avoid filling up the Google global disk drive array, I am restricting today's post to GM vehicles only, and GM lovers, this is your day.

We start with a rare event where we actually OWNED a car just like this (though not this car) and we talked to the owner and put him in the photos. It's a 1966 Corvair Corsa Convertible!

Apparently there is an inexhaustible supply of these old Chevy and GMC pickups. Are you ready to see them all (just today's)?

This primered truck gave us a two-fer-one bonus - an early 60's Buick Riviera with key in the trunk (which probably works the ignition too).

Another, earlier Chevy 4x4 pickup - owner coming out to greet the UPS deliveryman

I'm going to guess late 1960's Chevy Pickup 4x4 which at the time was pretty rare

Another Chevy Pickup - this one a 2WD Trailer (or Camper?) Special with what seems to be an extremely long wheelbase and bed.

Early 70's El Camino on DUBs wheels - I kinda like this look (I'm ashamed, but I still like it).

WE HAVE FINALLY RUN OUT OF CHEVY TRUCKS for the day.

A clean 4-door post 57 Chevy Bel Air

Now a 1963 Impala

Sorry, my bad. No focus.

Roughly 1967 Chevy Malibu Super Sport. This guy lives by our church and I see the car every week. His neighbor across the drive has the white Rice Rocket and a keen Challenger which was out of sight today.

Moving up a couple of notches, we find a 2-door Cadillac on massive custom wheels. The license frame says 7 Deuce so I'd say it's a 1972.

Sorry for the incomplete coverage; my wife was operating the camera at this point.

We finish with a Cadillac Limo, circa 1960. It's seen better days, of course, but what car guy couldn't find a place for this in his heart?

A little "Polish on, Polish Off" and it could be a concours winner... can you imagine walking down the street, glancing the other way, and accidentally impaling yourself on those fins?
