Rolex shots, anyone?
Since we don't have a dedicated Rolex forum, I thought it would be fun to use this space for an occasional celebration of the brand, which manages at once to be the most overrated and underrated of watch brands. Here's my modest contribution: a Datejust, which incorporates the use of (i) an automatic movement, pioneered by Rolex, (ii) a date, also pioneered by Rolex, and (iii) a metal bracelet, pioneered by -- you guessed it -- Rolex. (I expect the usual quibbles about how it was really Harwood, not Rolex, that pioneered the automatic movement, etc., etc.; that's all part of the fun.)
