Reverso Grande Date or Grande GMT?

 

Hello everyone!

My Name is Johannes and I am new to this forum. Up until now I own a Stowa Flieger Original L.E., a Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Automatique and two marine chronometers.

For my bar exam next year I was planning to get one of my dream watches (the other being the unaffordable Lange Datograph): the Reverso Grande Date. Just recently I have discovered the GMT and now I cannot decide between the two. At first sight, the face of the GMT looks a little unbalanced as the power reserve at 10:30 and the "2" is missing. On the other hand, the GMT comes with extra and useful complications and a second face. What a great idea for the reverso concept!

How would decide? Has anyone been through the same decision?

I am getting my RG GMT soooooon ( but not soon enough ) I like the GMT "compliaction"/ 2 watches in one deal and the size of the watch...I dont travel as much as I use to but still have ties in Aisa and Italiy thus the GMT function works for me when I nee...

Have you considered looking at the Reverso Sun Moon? Either watch you get will be a fantastic watch. However, one minor detail that erks me is the two date digits on different planes (which is why you see a split date window). I know it is a necessity if ...
