Wanted to share my latest acquisition, after a (way too long) wait... the Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel. So excited! I used to have the 15305ST, in 39mm. Both versions are absolutely stunning. Initially I was a bit concerned about the larger size, but it wears pretty well. Cheers

Yes, movements with less complications works very well with openworking, as the space between components let’s through light and reflects better. An Openworked Perpetual Calendar, while itself incredibly impressive, looks way more “busy”.
