I think the exploitation of their somewhat pedestrian 38-hr automatic movement combined with different case and dials may have run its course.

But why some Louis Erard’s use a Sillita movement? Nothing wrong with it, two of the minus points are the power reserve of normal hours and such a brand screams for in house movements and some silicium parts in the movement. For servicing its clever, but ...
