New landing . . .

 

No time to do a proper photo shoot but perhaps some time to shoot for comparison this weekend . . . .in the meantime, just had to share a few quick and dirty new shots for a new (old style?) landing . . . as someone who's owned both the 127 and 217 but found them both a bit large for my wrist and let them fly to new homes . . . this new case style wears more comfortably and somehow visually seems larger than a 44mm but not overwhelmingly so . . . perhaps the lack of distortion with the plexi crystal and slightly rounded case and thinner lugs . . . I'll continue to ponder while I enjoy the honeymooon smile . . ..and looks like many have begun to pass through AD's and Boutiques so more to follow here soon I'm sure. Have a great week all!

it seems larger than 44mm because it is 47mm.

I guess I was a bit confusing and backwards in my summation. Realizing it's 47mm I guess I was commenting that is doesn't wear or feel like those previous 47mm machines I'd owned. It's obviously more substantial than a 44mm Luminor case but doesn't wear d...

congrats! wear it in good health... your photos made me want one again... I saw it in person and had a good long time test wear in the Purist-Panerai LA event. I gave up on it due to the size but now I need to revisit the 372...sigh..

I had thought the same after previously ditching the 47mm bandwagon . .. .so far anyway this is much more comfortable on the wrist and case sizes wears differently . ..I'll do a more detailed review and pics in the next few weeks but so far so good

Showing that sexy voluptuous plexi. Looks perfect on your wrist. I tried one on a few weeks ago and to my surprise, fitted well on my wrist. IMHO, it is the way the lugs are shaped and the contours of the case. I thought 44 mm . luminors were the max. siz...
