New Fifty Fathoms in 2013?
Hi guys,
I am pondering whether to buy the Fifty Fathoms Tribute to Aqua Lung, or to wait for 2013, when is the 60th anniversary of the series, and Blancpain might introduce a new version of my favourite watch. I already own the 50th anniversary model (I used to have two) and the modern 45mm version, and love them both.
Does anyone know/think there will be a new version intorduced next year?
The other alternative I think is to buy the Nautilus 5711 to keep me happy until then.
Any opinions/inout, more than welcome.

Yes, my guess is that we'll have a new FF in 2013. I would be you, I would wait, and to help you to wait, I would try to hunt one of these gorgeous Vintage FFs... That would be logical, since you have the 2 most interesting modern FFs, till now. Best, nic...

Yes, I did in spring 2010. It is in good hands I hope I did a total overhaul at Blancpain early in 2011 and it is like new ever since. All my other watches, since I got this one and the 45mm (strap) version in 2008, have become sleepers FF's are addictive...

A Blancpain retailer in Zurich showed me a catalogue with the novelties for 2012 from Blancpain and it includes a blue stainless steel version of the standard FFathoms, with blue strap as well. Other details seem to include fully brushed case, like the Aq...
