Yes, my guess is that we'll have a new FF in 2013. I would be you, I would wait, and to help you to wait, I would try to hunt one of these gorgeous Vintage FFs... That would be logical, since you have the 2 most interesting modern FFs, till now. Best, nic... 

Your opinion counts a lot to me. The 50th anniversary that I still own, is the n.7 serial, which I think you used to own My ideal scenario would be exactly what you said, but I am unable to find my dream vintage Fathoms.. I am looking for months and month...

Yes, I did in spring 2010. It is in good hands I hope I did a total overhaul at Blancpain early in 2011 and it is like new ever since. All my other watches, since I got this one and the 45mm (strap) version in 2008, have become sleepers FF's are addictive...

What I am wondering, and although I dream of a 42mm version, is how will they manage not to kill the current versions' sales. The blue stainless steel version has hardly hit the stores and a new 42mm version would definitely stop most 45mm sales imho. Let...
