My personal top five of all time
Never easy to choose a top five of anything. And it’s never going to be easy when you’re choosing your all-time top five for a brand such as Patek Philippe. The history of Patek is so rich that choosing even a top-10 it’s quite a feat. This was no easy task for sure. Making my decisions I thought about technical aspects the complexity of the movement signature complications and what is the DNA of Patek. Most of all though for me personally it is the aesthetics of a watch that is the most important part. Looking at these pieces fills my eyes with joy. Of all the complications made by Patek Philippe perhaps the world time and the perpetual calendar Chronograph or perhaps the two most widely revered.

The enamel WT and 130 are amongst the top 5 for me. Since I am more familiar with and fond of recent productions, I would add the Grand Master Chime, 5531R, and, to no surprise, the 5089G Rousseau enamel lion 🦁 !! ...
