My first PAM !

Hi people..

Like many, i've been a frequent lurker here, trying to absorb as much information as possible. Finally, there came a stage where i could not resist the call of the Panerai !

I desperately wanted to start off my PAM collection with a Base model, as i always felt that this was the "essence" of PAM.. now the big question - Luminor Base or Rad Base ?? While the Luminor Base is quite appealing with its macho looks and rugged feel, the Rad Base has an immeasurably classy feel to it..

I vacillated for a long time between a 112, a 176, a 183 and a 210 (I wasn't helped at all by an AD friend who said that he had the 176 and the 210 which arrived together), but after hours of doubting and forum research, I finally plumped for a 210 (Don't ask me why) !!!

The beauty arrived last week, and i haven't had a chance to take proper photos yet, but here is a quick wrist shot.. i couldn't be happier with the watch..there's a great feel having a PAM on the wrist, i must say ! This will steal a substantial portion of my wrist time away from my JLC MC Geo, Hublot BB PG, Breitling Chronomat and my Omega SM Diver.. 

Now how long before i feel the need to get some nice after-market straps !!
