My favourite of the collection...Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI 45th anniversary
Limited edition of 1937 pieces, i believ it's the first and only fully brushed Titanium Grade 2 Speedy Pro with manual winding caliber 1861. Combined with SEDNA Gold on tachymeter ring , hands and markers, make it a very versatile watch. On the NATO it's a casual and tool watch, on the brown leather strap it's a dressy sport watch.
The PVD dial can look brown, grey, or charcoal , almost black, depends on the light and viewing angle. Gold hands filled with Luminova on full scale keeps the legibility to optimum, even better than the regular Speedy FOIS. But the most special thing is the dial, which is a Laser-cut PVD, removing the dial surface except the numbers, markers and letters, literally "brought" them alive and creating 3D effect. Not enough with that, Omega polished the surface of the numbers on the subdials, so when you look straight from the front, the subdials is "dissapear", makes the watch looks like a 3-hander with monotone brown colour.
But when you tilt the watch, and the light falls unto subdials...magically the subdials appear with sparkling gloss. Just amazing. Well done Omega.
