Kudoke vs Laine
I’ll admit that I’m fairly new to the world of independents, although I’ve done some pretty intensive exploration in the past few months online. There’s an an entire universe to explore and I have barely scratched the surface!
These two makers, Kudoke and Laine, come up frequently in my readings and represent entry level offerings into the world of independents. As someone who is dipping his toes into this space for the first time, I feel like one of these would be a good starting point.

I saw that too , i think there will be one or two laying around at a local AD but as far as I know the are all sold out or spoken for.

I don't think you can say one is better finished than the other. Different approaches. I own one of each. The gestalt of the Laine is bolder but better is not something I'd say. Different. ...

It’s rare to see both side by side like that. Thank you for sharing that. To my eye, it seems like the finishing for both is good, but maybe Laine incorporates some higher end techniques, many sharp angles, for instance
