It was a question that was posed to me yesterday about our collection of watches - all of us here are watch enthusiasts and have purchased our watches for a variety of reasons, be it mechanical prowess, history etc. and we all have some (or many) that we treasure. What if it came to a point that we had to pick one to keep, just one, and had to leave all the other pieces behind - which one would it be and why?
It sounds like torture to me, but I think at the end of the day, personally, I would have the one that inspired me the most and also one that I was chasing after early on in my "career" with collecting these pieces stay with me. Brands wouldn't be a problem for me, I suppose. From my small collection, the Speedy Pro would probably stand out as the one as it was one that brought most satisfaction when acquired.
Would be interested in hearing other thoughts surrounding this.
