Patek Philippe

Good is good, perfect is much better.

But to achieve perfection, often requires some efforts.

You might remember that some weeks ago I placed a strap to my 5960/1A and converted it to 5960/1.

However, I used a conventional strap with straight ends which did not take into account the distance from the spring bar holes to the case. My guess is that Patek has "intentionally" constructed the watch in such a way that the case does not look good if a strap is assembled.

I decided to fight against this idea and after some consulting with a first class strap maker, they made me as a custom rode straps made to fit to my 5960/1A, nowadays 5960/1.

Two of the straps are pictured and you can probably catch the idea. I will post some pictures next week when also the folding clasp is placed to the new straps.

What do you think?

Best, Kari
